Our Generous Sponsors:
We appreciate the annual support of our sponsors. They have provided door prizes and various other monetary support throughout the year. The best way to thank them for their help is to call on them when you need their services. They are listed below:
Cowtown Round-Up Seminar Sponsors:
Golf Sponsors:
Community Service Donations:
The Board voted to donate $500.00 to The All Church Home for Children who assisted more than 4,000 children in need in 2007 and the donation was made at our December Holiday luncheon to Dr. Wayne Carson.
The Board also voted to donate $500.00 to Give 2 the Troops. Below is an overview of the organization and sample of what our donation will pay for. The organization was formed in 2002 by Andi Grant, wife of a Marine Reservist, who was deployed for a year and is now on his second deployment. She began sending care packages and the list of deployed troops grew bigger and bigger. As word spread, donations began pouring in as Andi and friends packed boxes for the troops. They began receiving support from their community and it has grown into a nationwide organization. The “official list” of the Most Popular Items Requested By Our Troops is on the website and is very interesting reading. There are letters from the troops who received the care packages, a photo gallery, their calendar for volunteers, troop sign-up forms, and a blog for interacting with the troops. There is also a section for sending cards and letters. Please access the site for yourself at www.give2thetroops.org. Thank you for allowing us to donate to this very worthy cause. Also, please send your prayers for the safety of the son of our member Terry Sutton, who is currently actively serving in the military. |
